1. Scope and ownership
This is a proprietary commercial license, not an open-source license. It applies
to the Innovius-owned proprietary portions of ShinrAI Enterprise and their
release artifacts, including container layers, executable code and bytecode,
proprietary model artifacts, documentation, examples, tests, deployment files,
and updates (the Materials). Public availability or possession of a download
or activation key does not grant rights beyond this license. Innovius and its
licensors retain ownership. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Separately licensed components are governed by section 5.

2. Permitted purpose
Subject to a valid purchased or expressly issued evaluation entitlement and the
applicable order, Innovius grants the licensed business a non-exclusive right
to install and run ShinrAI Enterprise for its own authorized detection,
redaction, pseudonymization and related documented processing of personal data,
including integration into its business applications and workflows. Use must
remain within the authorized installations, features and usage allowance.
Evaluation entitlements permit internal evaluation and acceptance testing only,
not production use. Purchased offline packs do not expire; exhaustion prevents
further metered processing until additional capacity is licensed.

The license permits necessary installation and backup copies, internal use and
adaptation of supplied examples and deployment files for that permitted purpose,
and operation by contractors solely on the licensed business's behalf and under
its responsibility. Copies must retain this license and applicable notices.
Downloading, reading the documentation and verifying release signatures are
permitted before purchase; these acts do not authorize unlicensed inference.

3. Prohibited uses
Except where an express written agreement with Innovius permits otherwise,
you must not:
(a) use the Materials or copies, extracts or derivatives of the Materials to
train, pre-train, fine-tune, distill, align or otherwise develop or improve an
AI or machine-learning model, or include them in training or evaluation corpora;
(b) systematically query the product or collect its predictions to extract,
replicate or train a substitute for its models or detection capabilities;
(c) sell, sublicense, redistribute, rent, white-label or offer the Materials or
their functionality as a standalone hosted service or competing product;
(d) commercially exploit the Materials for any purpose outside section 2;
(e) bypass activation, metering or installation binding, share entitlements,
or clone or roll back state to obtain unpaid capacity; or
(f) remove proprietary notices or modify, decompile or reverse engineer the
proprietary implementation, except as expressly permitted by mandatory law.

These restrictions cover both commercial and non-commercial AI training.
Innovius expressly reserves text-and-data-mining rights in the Materials,
including under section 44b(3) of the German Copyright Act, to the extent such
rights may lawfully be reserved. No training or mining permission is implied.

4. Customer data and ordinary product use
This license does not transfer ownership of customer inputs or impose a new
license on customer-owned data. Customers may use processed or redacted versions
of their own data for their lawful business purposes, including preparing data
for AI workflows, within the permitted product purpose. This does not authorize
model extraction, training on the Materials, or reuse of proprietary model
artifacts. Ordinary product testing and evaluation of processing quality within
the entitlement are permitted; section 3(a) does not prohibit that testing.

5. Separately licensed components and mandatory rights
Third-party software, open-source components, and models supplied under separate
licenses retain those licenses, notices and rights. This license does not
relicense them or restrict rights independently granted by their licensors.
In particular, the separately distributed shinrai-engine and the bundled PII
model retain their respective licenses. Any model-specific commercial-use
requirements must also be satisfied; purchase of an enterprise usage pack does
not itself override them. Consult the release's component notices and SBOM.
No provision excludes rights or exceptions that cannot lawfully be excluded,
including applicable backup, interoperability and research exceptions.

6. Contractual framework
The applicable order and ShinrAI purchase/use terms additionally govern payment,
usage allocation, support, refunds and statutory remedies. An individually
agreed written license takes precedence to the extent of an express conflict.
German law applies subject to mandatory applicable law. Statutory rights,
remedies and liability rules remain unaffected. No availability guarantee or
additional warranty is created by this license.
